Covenant House provides holistic care for young people experiencing homelessness, including young families experiencing homelessness and, particularly, young moms and their babies. Since 1987, Covenant House has offered a lifeline for youth facing homelessness, recognizing their inherent goodness and boundless potential. Covenant House is a small Assisted Living community where residents can feel safe, secure, and comfortable, while receiving compassionate care in a home-like setting.

At Covenant House, home-cooked meals are prepared daily as well a program of activities to keep active residents engaged and busy. This disparity is one of the leading causes of being unsheltered among young adults in America today. Despite having a job, many do not make enough money to pay the bills. And without savings or family support, they often end up on the streets.
GARDEN COURT NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER is a "Medicare-certified" nursing home which means that this nursing home participated in Medicare Part A . Medicare-covered services include semi-private room, skilled nursing care and other therapy services. The quality ratings gives you an indication of the care GARDEN COURT NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER give to their patients incomparison to other nursing homes. Covenant House provides housing and supportive services to youth facing homelessness. We help young people transform their lives and put them on a path to independence. Over our 25 years, we have served over 80,000 young people across our core programs and services. Our alumni have become independent, confident successful adults, creating their own amazing lives. Our staff, some of whom have been with us the entire 25-year journey, have supported, uplifted and provided unconditional love and absolute respect to every young person who enters our campuses, many of whom have no other place to go.

An eviction or foreclosure can force an entire family to become unsheltered and separate. Youth are often left without a permanent home causing them to move from one friend or family’s home to another until they have overstayed their welcome and look for some other type of shelter. In the fall of 1997, Covenant House Michigan opened its doors to Detroit’s young people facing homelessness with the establishment of the Eastside Community Service Center. In less than three years, CHM expanded to include a Street Outreach program , a second Community Service Center and a Job Development Center , and a Crisis Center . In the fourth year of operation, the Rights of Passage transitional living program opened.
About 29 percent of these young parents have a history of foster care, 37 percent have been involved in the justice system, 36 percent have been impacted by domestic violence, and 28 percent have a history of mental health challenges. Nursing homes provides non-acute medical and skilled nursing care services, therapy and social services under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse on a 24-hour basis. A breakdown of family is a contributing factor of youth experiencing homelessness. If there is no extended family or support system, younger children are placed in the foster care system and older youth are left to fend for themselves.

Our community features bright and airy studio and one-bedroom apartments with full baths and kitchenettes, plus inviting common spaces where you’ll enjoy engaging programs and activities. Covenant House is an Assisted Living Facility located in the area of Yakima, Washington on 226 S 16Th Ave. Covenant House is a fully furnished community and licensed for up to 6 seniors in the care facility.
Our trauma-informed services help bridge the gap between potential and progress, and we also advocate for systemic change through public policy, while promoting awareness of critical issues related to youth homelessness. Covenant House Residential Care Home is licensed for up to 6 residents and is a small care facility. This Tulsa care community aims to provide peace of mind to its residents and family members. Covenant House Residential Care Home provides a variety of senior care services including activities and home cooked meals for their residents in Tulsa.
